In 1957, Prato Caretto, Itarian missionary, was a head of Christian missionary in Radchaburi and governed Christians covering from Radchaburi until Yala. He had attention to follow a Catholic group toward Phuket.
In 1936, Daorung Wittaya boys' School was established.
After that 10 years, in 1964, Darasamut School was established for specific girl students. The school located at Rangang village, Vichitsongkram and has known as Darasamut until now. At that time, Darasamut was administrated by Sister Fransiscan's admistrative group from United States.
